OVERVIEW
Council is developing a masterplan for New Norfolk Skate Park (Ellis Dean Reserve), located on the corner of Blair Street and George Street. We are currently inviting feedback from the community on their thoughts about this important recreational space.
BACKGROUND
Award-winning landscape architecture company PlayStreet have been engaged by Derwent Valley Council as the principal consultant for the redevelopment of Ellis Dean Reserve.
The project involves the masterplanning of an improved public space with a focus on creating a safe meeting space for youth. As part of the design process community consultation is being undertaken with youth, community groups, and other stakeholders to ensure the design respects and reflects the aspirations of the Derwent Valley community.
