Strategic Plan
Council follows and integrated approach to strategic and operational planning, including resourcing, community engagement, monitoring and reporting.
The Strategic Plan is our highest-level document. It outlines our mission and values, and sets out our 4 top-level strategic objectives and their underlying strategies.
The Strategic Plan has been developed with a 10-year outlook. It serves as a compass for Council, providing clear direction and priorities for the years ahead, and provides the framework under which our annual plans, budget preparations, and other subject specific and multi-year strategies, action plans, and policies are developed.
The current Strategic Plan was adopted by Council in October 2023, and has been developed following extensive community engagement.
