Matt filled a vacancy on Derwent Valley Council in December 2021 and was re-elected as Councillor in October 2022.
Matt has lived in the Derwent Valley his entire life and is an active volunteer in the community.
He has worked in government and non-government organisations for over 19 years and is committed to working to achieve best value for money services that Council can provide.
Matt believes in making decisions based on facts and in line with regulations and the needs of the community and always endeavours to communicate and consult, involve and respect members of the community.
