BUSHY PARK FOLLOW-UP COMMUNITY WORKSHOP
Following the community meeting on 1 June 2026, where Council and community discussed the closure of the Bushy Park War Memorial Swimming Pool, Council is returning to Glenora District School to continue the conversation about the future of the site.
Together, Council and community will workshop the future of the pool site — sharing ideas, exploring possibilities, and discussing how this community space could be reimagined for the future. We'll also take the opportunity to explore broader Bushy Park and Glenora community priorities.
Through the community engagement undertaken for the federally funded Regional Precincts and Partnerships Program, Council has published the Upper Derwent Valley Precinct Plan (the Plan). The priorities identified in the Plan are a starting point for discussion.
We hope to have a robust conversation that explores further ideas and tests these priorities against what the community wants for the future of the site.
All are welcome to join the conversation, though the focus will be on the Bushy Park and Glenora communities.
Date: Wednesday, 22 July 2026
Time: 5:30pm – 7pm
Location: Glenora District School
