Derwent Valley Community Brand

Council has worked with multiple award-winning brand consultancy For the People to carry out a number of community consultations, workshops and design work to create  the Derwent Valley Community Branding Identity.

It's a way for our businesses and tourism operators, community members and council to have a consistent look and feel for the valley, and for how the rest of the world sees us.

As local businesses and organisations use the Brand, it will help to enhance and build the future of Derwent Valley's businesses, community groups, organisations, activities, events and its people and help to make the valley more well known.

It's free to register and gives you access to the full range of logos, fonts, colour palettes and illustrations along with some guidelines of how to use them.

The guidelines will tell you everything you need to know to get things started. By following them, you can create brochures, websites, beer coasters, jam jars, podcasts, doilies or UFO tours, knowing full well they'll always look and feel true to the Derwent Valley.

These are a few ideas of how the Derwent Valley Community Brand can spring to life in different forms. We hope they inspire a whole bunch of ideas for you to use it for your organisation, business or initiative.

You can see some local examples below of how businesses and organisations have already started to use the brand.

All that's left now is for you to register your details and we'll be in touch soon to get you underway!

If you still need some inspiration, we've included some more examples below of how the brand can be used.
