This park is a popular place for family BBQ's and picnics, it also has a children's educational bike track complete with traffic lights and road signs.
The Council decided at it's meeting in April 2016, that it did not want any camping to take place at Tynwald Park. This includes not only tents but caravans, campers, motor homes. In effect there is no overnight camping permitted at Tynwald Park.
