Derwent Valley Council STEPS to the Future Strategy
This strategy has been prepared for the Derwent Valley Council to guide progression of the Derwent Valley towards the following community vision.
A prosperous, supportive and sustainable community creatively and constructively engaging with the opportunities the wider world has to offer.
This strategy provides guidance in terms of both direction and how to achieve the outcomes sought, while being pragmatic it is unashamedly aspirational.

The Economic and Growth Special Committee, established by Council, has been given primary responsibility for progressing the STEPs Plan and works with other stakeholders and committees of Council to achieve this objective.
