Covid-19 Information and Updates - Updated 29 May

To reduce the number of face-to-face interactions with the community and protect our staff and their ability to carry out ongoing essential services, the Derwent Valley Council Offices will reopen to the public from 10am - 2pm from Monday 1 June for essential visits only.

Council operating hours are still 8.15am – 5pm (Mon - Fri) and Council services can be accessed over the phone, by email or via our website. We encourage all enquiries by phone or email where possible.

Tenders

The purpose of Council's Code for Tenders and Contracts (Code), is to provide a policy framework on best practice tendering and procurement methods in line with the requirements of the Local Government Act 1993 (the Act) and the Local Government (General) Regulations 2015 (Regulations).

The Act and Regulations require the Council to invite tenders for any contract it intends to enter into for the supply or provision of goods or services valued at or above the Prescribed Amount. For purchases under the Prescribed Amount alternate procurement processes will apply.
