The upgrade will include installation of rubberised soft-fall under the existing equipment to provide greater access to play equipment for younger children, some new sensory play areas, all access pebble creek bridge crossing and a water pump and trough play area.

The existing playground will be closed for 4 to 5 weeks while the works are carried out. The toilets will remain open, as will the BBQ facilities near the pool. Playgrounds at nearby Tynwald park will remain open.
