News from the February Council Meeting

The following decisions of Council were passed at Thursday's meeting.

Municipality Toilet Review

The toilet review identified the municipality’s public toilets, the current condition of each facility, cleaning regime and opening times, and provides recommendations.

Councillors noted the report, and agreed to develop a public toilet strategy, have a condition assessment conducted for each toilet block; and consider engaging consultants to review each facility and determine whether replacement or refreshment was the preferred option.

Delivering Our Valley: Advocacy Roadmap

Council has developed a document to provide consistent messaging for the purposes of advocacy. It may also be used to identify projects for philanthropic funding and use as an introduction for potential investors to illustrate the future plans for the municipality.

This report was noted to be used for these purposes.
