Luke was first elected to Derwent Valley Council as Councillor in October 2018 and was elected as Deputy Mayor in October 2022.
He has lived in the Derwent Valley his entire life and has many family and community tie, giving him insight and awareness of community needs and challenges.
A background in business and management, along with his experience as a Councillor since 2018, provides him with valuable insight and the tools to face these challenges.
Luke believes in common sense decision making and the importance of strategic planning for the future.
