BBQ's: BBQ shelters at the Esplanade, Tynwald park and Gleeson Park (Lachlan) may be reserved for $16-50. Contact Customer Services on (03) 62618 500 or come into the Council Chambers.
Derwent Valley On-Line Access Centre: This webpage is a useful site for New Residents with information on local schools, community groups, history, local attractions, business and local news.
Memorial Plaques: Memorial plaques can be organised through the Council Chambers either in person or by contacting us on (03) 6261 8500.
Family Tree: Researching your family tree? Historical searches can be arranged via Council's Customer Service Officers.
Office Hours: Council office hours are Monday to Friday 8.15am to 5.00PM.
Justice of the Peace: The Derwent Valley Council has two Justices of the Peace available during office hours.
Citizenship: You will need to contact the Department of Immigration and Multicultural and Indigenous Affairs.
Photocopying: A photocopying service is available at the Council offices with a charge of 20c per page. However if you are a Community Group come in and sign up at the Customer Services Desk to register to use the photocopier in the Valley Vision Offices.
Recycling: Replacement recycling bins are available from the Council's Environmental department.
Wheelie Bins: If your wheelie bin has been stolen or damaged please visit the Customer Services desk and they will arrange a replacement bin for you.
