2009/2010 FINANCIAL YEAR DOG REGISTRATION FEES
Owners and keepers of dogs in the Derwent Valley Municipal area are advised that the dog registration fees for the 2009/2010 period in respect of all dogs over the age of six (6) months are due and payable at the Council offices, Circle Street, New Norfolk. Dog registration fees for 2009/2010 are:

* Responsible Owner Status - 50% reduction on regular fees (if paid before 31 July 2009) (Not applicable to first dog registered by Pensioner).
Residents are advised that door knocking will commence during August 2009 to identify unregistered dogs.
All dogs over the age of 6 months must be registered. Failure to register dogs within the prescribed period may result in a fine of up to 5 penalty units.
