Dog Faeces

Remember the importance of picking up after your dog.  Not only is dog faeces unsightly and unpleasant, it has other negative impacts on our community and environment.

It is a legal requirement under the Dog Control Act 2000 that "a person in charge of a dog must immediately remove and dispose of any dog faeces left by the dog in a public place or in a place not owned by the person".  If the person does not pick it up it can lead to a fine of $157.00 (1 penalty unit).
