COVID-19 - Event cancellation and venue closure information

Council is actively reviewing all events planned to be held in the Derwent Valley to ensure that the public and our staff are not put at any unnecessary risk due to the spread of Coronavirus.

Below is the current status of Community Spaces and organisations, scheduled events and activities as at 10:00 am on 27 March 2020.

- Doorways Program - No face to face assessments. All assessments through phone and collection of goods by table setup in the foyer area
- Friday Meals - Temporarily suspended. Pre prepared meals are available by prior arrangement.
- Corps Officers - All interactions through social media and phone.

Adherence to Australian Government Department of Health guidelines and the use of hand washing facilities prior and following entering the building.
